The Darlington Marathon course is mostly flat with a small constant uphill slope to about the halfway point followed by a similar small constant downhill slope to the finish. The typically warm and humid weather may negatively impact runners on this otherwise fast course. If the weather is cooler than normal and the humidity is lower, expect fast times.
The race starts at the Darlington Raceway Museum and finishes inside the track at Winners Circle.
